CTN-Conservatory

Cold Tofu CONSERVATORY

The conservatory program provides CTN participants the opportunity to produce their own show ranging from short form games, musical improv, and experimental long form improv. Participants will embark on a 10-week commitment to train in different styles of improv and performance while also maintaining control of the show at the producer level with support and guidance from COLD TOFU. The show will be directed by the Artistic Director and/or the Associate Artistic Director.

Classes will be held Wednesday nights from 7-10pm at SFXC with added rehearsals on select dates/times – to be determined by need and availability of the cast. COLD TOFU will provide the groundwork for production (1-hour show with musician at Maryknoll auditorium); participants will have the freedom and license to broaden the scope as talent and as producers: different venue, show title, added rehearsal schedule, show format, marketing, etc. Tuition: $300

Wednesdays February 6 - April 10
7-10pm

SFXC, Clubhouse (above main auditorium)
222 S. Hewitt Street, Los Angeles, CA 90012

We will have a post-mortem/cast party April 17 or April 24, depending on show date.
