Cold Tofu's Level I Workshop begins Wednesday, May 14!
COLD TOFU’s Level I improvisation workshop starts Wednesday, May 14 at Maryknoll in Little Tokyo (exact dates TBD). Led by COLD TOFU Performing Cast Members, Steve Brady and Kevin Ocampo, the eight-week session will meet every Wednesday 7:00-10:00 pm and focus on improv techniques and games used by the Performing Cast of COLD TOFU. It is geared to help performers and non-performers learn basic improv skills and gain confidence in a fun, nurturing environment. The cost is only $260 for eight weeks! (Workshop fee includes the required reading material, Truth in Comedy. No refunds.)

IMPROV WORKSHOP GENERAL INFORMATION
Cold Tofu offers improvisation workshops throughout the year. There are three levels of classes and each focuses on improv techniques and games used by the performing cast of Cold Tofu. Cold Tofu’s workshops are geared to help performers and non-performers learn improv skills and gain confidence in a fun, nurturing environment.
Level I Improv Workshop
$260 for eight weeks - Workshop fee includes the required reading material, Truth in Comedy. No refunds.
This beginning class is geared towards learning basic improv techniques for those with little or no improv experience. A short demonstration by the students is presented on stage at the end of the eight-week course. Recommended preparation but not required: Fundamentals in acting
Level II Improv Workshop
$250 for eight weeks. No refunds.
This session continues towards providing a solid foundation in improv, introducing narrative and character work. A short demonstration by the students is presented on stage at the end of the eight-week course. Prerequisite: Cold Tofu’s Level I Improv Workshop
Level III Improv Workshop
$250 for eight weeks. No refunds.
This session continues working on advanced improv techniques and expanding on narrative and character work. A short demonstration by the students is presented on stage at the end of the eight-week course. Prerequisite: Cold Tofu’s Level II Improv Workshop
